Why do many restaurants have to make it so difficult to find information on their website? Many concentrate more on the “presentation”, than they do on the ingredients. You would think, restauranteurs would know that everything begins with “ingredients”. Many times, you have to wait for a 30 second introduction just to get to any information. Other times, the menus are outdated, there isn’t any contact information on the site, etc. etc. If restaurant owners would put half as much thought into their websites as they do into their decor and food, it would be a godsend. There have been quite a few times where we’ve passed on a restaurant because we couldn’t find a menu or even a phone number to call to make a reservation. Could we have hunted down the information. Sure. But why should we have to do that? Thanks to Westword and Oatmeal for expressing the frustration that many of us feel. You can find the articles here and here.
