We spent this past weekend in Aspen. While it was intended to be a ski weekend, unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate. Unseasonably warm temperatures (almost 60F) definitely made for “spring skiing” conditions. Aspen’s never a bad place to spend time, so even though we weren’t on the slopes, it was still an enjoyable weekend. We went back for a second stay at the Hotel Jerome. Built in 1889 by Jerome Wheeler, who owned Macy’s Department Store, it reflects life during the silver mining days in Aspen. Check out our review, here. Later this week, we’ll have reviews of a new lunch find and a visit back to a favorite place for breakfast.
