Espresso Vivace

Stop by any of the three locations of Espresso Vivace in Seattle and you’ll understand what all of the buzz is about.  And I’m not just talking the buzz from the espresso.  The espresso here is fantastic.  Some of the best we’ve had in our travels.  Started as a coffee cart back in the late 80s, these folks have perfected the art of espresso above and beyond what other small shops try to be.  We stopped into the location on Yale, directly across from the REI flagship store.  A huge space, with plenty of 

room to spread out and enjoy the free wireless, you can linger over you favorite espresso or coffee drink and watch the day go by.  Vivace concentrates on just two coffee blends. Espresso Vita and Espresso Dolce.  Our preference was for Dolce, due to the great chocolate undertones.  Vita has a slightly more caramel taste.  Either way, you can’t go wrong.  An added bonus is their website has useful information for baristas or just others who have an interest in making a great cup of espresso.
