Whenever we visit Pike Place Market, our first stop is the Daily Dozen Doughnut Company on the south end of the market, near the Pike Street entrance. There’s usually a line of visitors waiting for a paper bag of some of the best mini donuts you’ll ever have. Get there early, because the lines continue on and off throughout the day.
Created with the absolutely awesome “Donut Robot Mark II”, you can watch the entire donut making process that occurs in just a few square feet. Donuts are served hot, right out of the oil and come in several different iterations. Whether you like yours coated in powdered sugar, plain, sugar and cinnamon or frosted, they have you covered. You won’t want to think about the calories as you buy them, but you will be rewarded with the ultimate in fresh mini-donut taste that you can’t get anywhere else. It’s definitely worth the wait in line.
