Location
La Maison Arabe is located in the northwest part of the old city.  As you walk along Boulevard Fatima Zahra, you’ll see a small spice & kitchen store the hotel owns with the name above.  Take the next pathway on the corner of the building and the hotel is located down the path about 50 yards.

Atmosphere & Service
We stopped in for appetizers and drinks.  The piano bar is a darker room, with very comfortable sofas, chairs and tables.  It’s a great space to relax from the hot North African day.  The piano bar is open from 3PM onward.  Service here was very good.  The bartenders spoke English, French and Arabic perfectly.  There was a wide selection of reasonably priced mixed drinks and wine, along with a wide variety of appetizers.  Bartenders were generous with small bar snacks and conversation.  The crowd was a mix of european and americans.  The piano player played mostly recognizable songs and played almost continuously.

Food
The appetizers covered a wide range of food types, from Thai, asian, european to Moroccan.  We sampled several and all were top notch.  On the night we were there, the bar was slow, so they also allowed us to order a couple of items to share from the regular restaurant dinner menu.  Again, everything was perfect and nothing disappointed.

Overall
If you’re looking for a great place to unwind or just enjoy some great drinks and small plates with friends, you can’t go wrong with the jazz bar at La Maison.
