Location
7 Saints is located on the southeastern edge of Djemaa el-Fna, the main square, on the lower level, just beyond the square’s corner. The Les Balcon Glacier Cafe is right next door. Even though it’s only on the street level, it’s the perfect place to watch the activity and people on the square itself. It has a large covered patio, as well as a small dining area inside. We stopped here for a late afternoon snack, on the recommendation of a local guide.
Food
Open for breakfast through dinner, the menu is simple. It has all the basics, omelets, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizzas and salads. We opted for a pizza margherita, some fries and a couple of Cokes. The food was fine and the service was better than most. On a trip to the water closet, we also noticed that the kitchen was spotless and one of the cleanest we’d seen. That’s was reassuring compared to some of the places we’ve noticed near the square.
Overall
The most amazing thing about 7 Saints is the price. For the pizza, fries, three Cokes and two espresso, our total tab was $12 USD. A bargain at any price.
